Yearling steers and heifers sold steady to instances 5.00 higher. Calves sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower on a light test. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good on a short work week. Sunshine gave the area a chance to dry out after thunderstorms last week and pastures are in good condition.
Supply included: 26% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 44% Heifers, 2% Bulls);
5% Slaughter Cattle (82% Cows, 18% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (66% Stock Cows, 34% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 77% .
