In Texas, dry conditions prevailed across most of the state with the exception of extreme southern portions where about an inch of precipitation fell. Some minor degradations were made on the map in portions of the Panhandle, east Texas, and along the Gulf Coast. Overall, the region was generally dry this past week except in southern Arkansas and northern Mississippi where 1 to 2 inches of rainfall accumulation were observed.
