TxDOT Rural Transportation Improvement Program public meetings across the state in May 

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be holding public meetings this month to get input and provide information on the Rural Transportation Improvement Program for each district. The Rural TIP is a listing of federally funded projects that will be constructed or implemented in rural areas over the next four years.
The meetings will be an open house format so residents can come and go at their convenience. Staff will be on hand to answer questions. See the full schedule at TxDOT.gov

5 p.m. – 7 p.m
Rural Transportation Improvement Program
TxDOT San Antonio District will conduct a public meeting to provide information concerning the rural portions of the district which includes Atascosa, Bandera, Frio, Kendall, Kerr, McMullen, Medina, Uvalde, and Wilson counties. 
Lufkin 05/23/18
4 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Rural Transportation Improvement Program
The purpose of the public meeting is to discuss the initial adoption of the Lufkin District Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-2022 for Angelina, Houston, Trinity, Shelby, Nacogdoches, Sabine, San Augustine, Polk and San Jacinto counties.

Rural Transportation Improvement Program
The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the district’s project development plan and schedule for transportation projects in fiscal years 2019 through 2022. TxDOT’s Wichita Falls district consists of Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cooke, Montague, Throckmorton, Wichita, Wilbarger and Young counties.

Rural Transportation Improvement Program
The Rural TIP is a listing of federally funded projects that will be constructed or implemented over the next four years throughout the district’s eight-county area of Anderson, Cherokee, Gregg, Henderson, Rusk, Smith, Van Zandt and Wood counties. Maps and project listings will be available for review at the open house.

The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input to the proposed 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP).

The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the district’s project development plan and schedule for transportation projects in fiscal years 2019 through 2022. TxDOT’s Wichita Falls district consists of Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cooke, Montague, Throckmorton, Wichita, Wilbarger and Young counties.

Rural Transportation Improvement Program
The purpose of the public meeting is to receive comments on the FY 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program for the Odessa District. The district includes Andrews, Crane, Ector, Loving, Martin, Midland, Pecos, Reeves, Terrell, Upton, Ward and Winkler counties.
For those who can’t attend the meeting, the exhibits will be available for review 15 days before and after the meeting. The exhibits are available online and at the following locations:

  • Andrews Maintenance Office, 1000 S. Main, Andrews
  • McCamey Maintenance Office, 830 W. 5th St., McCamey
  • Monahans Maintenance Office, 3411 S. Stockton, Monahans
  • Odessa District Office, 3901 E. Highway 80, Odessa
  • Pecos Maintenance Office, 197 South Frontage Road I-20 West, Pecos
  • Sanderson Maintenance Office, 53 N. US Highway 285 Sanderson
Pharr 05/10/18

TxDOT’s Pharr district is gathering input on Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr, Willacy, Kenedy, Brooks, Jim Hogg, and Zapata counties.

4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Rural Transportation Improvement Program
The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the district’s project development plan and schedule for transportation projects in fiscal years 2019 through 2022. TxDOT’s Paris district consists of Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Lamar, Rains, and Red River Counties.

Rural Transportation Improvement Program
The purpose of the public meeting is to gather public input on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Jasper, Newton and Tyler counties.
