TSCRA Summer Meeting underway in Montgomery

TSCRA’s Summer Meeting is underway in Montgomery at the La Torretta Resort and Spa on the shores of beautiful Lake Conroe. The event kicked off Thursday evening with a welcome reception for attendees to get caught up with friends and enjoy the lakeside scenery.
Friday’s day began with committee meetings that included topics on brand inspection, sustainability, animal health and welfare, and issues about eminent domain. At noon, attendees enjoyed a luncheon and heard from state Sen. Lois Kolkhorst. The Summer Meeting will conclude on Saturday with a gathering of the board of directors in the morning to discuss topics important to cattle raisers and landowners.
