Ranchers and their families, friends and guests gathered in Fort Worth Friday morning for the start to TSCRA’s 2018 Cattle Raisers Convention & Expo. The School for Successful Ranching kicked off the proceedings at 8:00 a.m. and continued through the day, where attendees came ready to learn and discuss all facets of the cattle business. The Expo opened at 10:00 a.m. and welcomed folks to peruse the more than 200 exhibitors and retailers. School sessions and the Expo continued through the afternoon, ending with a Young People’s Party in the evening. Saturday’s sessions will begin with a CattleFax Market Outlook at 8:30 a.m. and the Opening General Session featuring remarks by U.S. Rep. Mike Conaway and inspiration from John O’Leary. Then folks will kick up their heels at the Cattle Raisers Dinner & Dance in the evening.
