TSCRA holds ranch gatherings in North Texas, Oklahoma

TSCRA hosted ranch gatherings in Oklahoma and North Texas this week to welcome members, friends and guests to hear from local industry leaders and TSCRA Special Rangers. The gathering Tuesday in Enid was hosted by Northwest Stockyards, where attendees enjoyed a beef dinner and received a law enforcement update from TSCRA Special Rangers Brett Wellden and Bart Perrier. The Comanche Nation welcomed gathering attendees in Lawton on Wednesday, where Brett Wellden gave tips on preventing cattle theft. Thanks go to event sponsors Elanco Animal Health and Stillwater Milling with Arrowquip Chutes.
The historic Royal Theater in Archer City was the location for Thursday’s ranch gathering, where attendees heard from TSCRA Special Ranger Scott Williamson spoke and got a legislative update from Stacy Fox. TSCRA Director Van Baize also presented the Montage County youth steer awards. Big thanks go to sponsors Elanco Animal Health, who prepared and served a great meal,  as well as Animal Health International, Capital Farm Credit, Nutrition Plus and Silveus Insurance. Special thanks also go to Steve and Lydia Tucker with Animal Health International for their hard work on this meeting.
Plenty of ranch gatherings are still scheduled for areas all around the state, so check TSCRA’s event calendar at tscra.org to see if we are having one in your area!
