TSCRA Crime Watch: Cow, 2 calves and 27 steers missing in Cooke County

TSCRA Special Ranger Troy McKinney, Dist. 11 in North Texas, reports the theft of a cow-calf pair and a calf from a property near Rosston and 27 head of steers from a pasture near Gainesville, both in Cooke County.
Missing since March 3 is a black baldy cow with a flying U brand on the left hip, her four-week-old undbranded calf, and a 300-to-400-pound black baldy steer branded with a flying U on the left hip.
Also missing are 27 head of crossbred steers that are mainly all black, with a few white and red, that were last seen on Feb. 17 in a pasture near Gainesville. The steers are branded with a G laying down S on the left hip.
