TSCRA Crime Watch: Cattle missing in N Central TX, shot in S TX

TSCRA Special Ranger Scott Williamson, Dist. 8 in North Central Texas, reports 4 branded steers missing from a property near Olney in Archer County and 9 branded cattle missing from a property near Weinert in Haskell County.
Missing from a property north of Olney in Archer County are four #1 English cross 800-pound steers branded with a horseshoe pointing down with a bar under on the left hip. These cattle have been missing since April 15.
Also missing from a pasture near Weinert in Haskell County are 7 mixed cross heifers and 2 mixed cross steers weighing approximately 600 pounds, each. All are branded 2- on the right hip.

TSCRA Special Ranger Steve Martin, Dist. 30 in South Texas, reports 2 heifers shot dead in a pasture on July 24 and 26 in Karnes County from CR 354 and CR 355. If you have any information regarding this case, please call Special Ranger Martin at 361-358-8851.
Anonymous tipsters with information on any case may also call the Operation Cow Thief Hotline at 888-830-2333. A cash reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and/or grand jury indictment of thieves.
