TSCRA Crime Watch: 41 calves, 4 cows missing in OK; UTV, welder & trailer stolen in ETX; Trailer, tack taken in WTX

TSCRA Special Ranger Brett Wellden, Dist. 3 in North Central Oklahoma, reports the theft of 4 cows and 41 calves from pens near Guthrie in Logan County. Missing are 4 black cows branded with CM or Double Box brands; and 41 unbranded black mixed bull and heifer calves, weighing 300 to 600 pounds, each. These cows and calves were last seen on Nov. 17. TSCRA Special Ranger Larry Hand, Dist. 13 in East Texas, reports a welder, trailer and equipment missing from a property south of Kilgore in Rusk County. Some time between the evening of Dec. 13 and the early morning of Dec. 14, a thief or thieves cut a lock on a gate to steal a Polaris Ranger MD 900 UTV, white with black accents, SN-4XAUH9EG28513; a blue Miller Bobcat 550 welder/generator; and a black and gray 14-foot tandem trailer with oxygen and acetylene bottles, a blue job box and miscellaneous tools. The trailer had “GW Davis” welded into metal at the back. If you have any information regarding this case, please call Special Ranger Hand at 903-592-5252.
TSCRA Special Ranger Joe Roberts, Dist. 16 in near West Texas, reports the theft of a trailer, a saddle and various bits from a ranch in Shackelford County some time between Dec. 16 and 17. The thief or thieves took a red 24-foot fully covered Easley gooseneck stock trailer, Texas license plate DZSN82, VIN 1E9LG2422RC132914. The trailer had an Easley sticker on nose and the floor is made from rubber-like boards. Also taken from a tack room at the ranch were: 1 Calvin Allen saddle with 16-inch padded seat, the saddle is natural leather with basket weave stamping, the initials WHG stamped on cantle, rope-wrapped horn and ox bow stirrups; 2 sets of Buster Welsh Argentine-style snaffle bits; 1 set Argentine snaffle bits made in Argentina; 1 set of Argentine snaffle bits made by Mitchell in Throckmorton; and 1 set of Jerry Cates bits with WHG on shanks.
