TSCRA Special Ranger Harold Dempsey is seeking information in connection to the recent theft of a roping steer in Randall County in the Texas Panhandle. It is believed that the 300-pound steer was taken during the overnight hours between Jan. 12 and Jan. 13, 2019. The steer is branded with a cross bar h on the left hip. Investigators believe the theft is tied to a string of recent criminal activity in the area.
