Pushmataha County Man Arrested on Felony Charges

ANTLERS, OKLA. – A Pushmataha County man was scheduled to appear on an arraignment in Marshall County court Thursday after being arrested on Feb. 10 by the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of burglary and larceny of farm equipment. Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger Austin Green and Deputy David Barnes of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation.
George Holder, 45, of Antlers, Okla., was arrested on felony charges out of Marshall County for burglary in the second degree and larceny of farm equipment. If convicted, Holder could face up to 20 years in prison.
Holder was transferred by Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office to the Marshall County jail in Madill and has bonded out at $100,000. This has been an ongoing investigation since May of 2011.
TSCRA would like to thank the investigators and agencies involved in the investigation including Deputy Barnes of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office and Terry Gregg of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture.

TSCRA has 30 special rangers stationed strategically throughout Texas and Oklahoma who have in-depth knowledge of the cattle industry and are trained in all facets of law enforcement. All are commissioned as Special Rangers by the Texas Department of Public Safety and/or the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
TSCRA is a 135 year-old trade association and is the largest and oldest livestock organization based in Texas. TSCRA has over 15,000 beef cattle operations, ranching families and businesses as members. These members represent approximately 50,000 individuals directly involved in ranching and beef production who manage 4 million head of cattle on 76 million acres of range and pasture land primarily in Texas and Oklahoma, but throughout the Southwest.
