Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed Laurie Woloszyn of Longview to the Sabine River Authority Board of Directors for a term set to expire on July 6, 2021. The Sabine River Authority conserves, stores, controls, preserves, utilizes and distributes the storm and flood waters and the waters of the Sabine River and its tributaries.
Laurie Woloszyn is the Gregg County Auditor. Prior to serving as auditor, she served as the Gregg County Clerk for eight years. She is a member of the Texas County Auditors Association. Woloszyn received a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler.
