Young Cattlemen’s Conference (YCC) applications are available for this year’s conference planned for June 1-9, 2016. Completed applications are due by March 1. Interviews will take place April 7 in Fort Worth before the Cattle Raisers Convention. The primary objective of the conference is to develop leadership qualities in young cattle raisers and expose them to all aspects of the beef industry. The tour, which includes activities in northern Colorado, Chicago, Ill., and Washington D.C., helps young leaders understand all areas of our industry, ranging from production structure, issues management, markets and international trade to the legislative process. For more information, including the official rules and applications, visit the YCC webpage on tscra.org…
