Wrap Up 2015 with these Weed Control Tips from Bayer

Bayer-phone-600x178
SPONSORED CONTENT – These last few weeks of 2015 are the perfect time to apply herbicides around the buildings and non-crop areas of your ranch to help you go into spring with a neater, cleaner home and working areas.

  • Use Bayer Esplanade® EZ along fence lines, in pens and machinery yards, around buildings, along driveways and sidewalks and in other non-crop areas to keep these areas clean of weeds for up to 6 months.
  • While you are hunting this season, scout for emerging weeds such as broomweed and thistles and any wildlife-friendly forbs. This information will help you make weed control decisions next spring.
  • Use Velpar® L VU to control unwanted brush along your hunting lanes. Consider adding dye to the Velpar® L VU when using individual plant treatment (IPT) to help you to better see where you’ve sprayed.
  • Look for bargains on spring purchases and take advantage of special year-end pricing and buying opportunities for all your ranching and herd health management needs.
  • Attend workshops to complete CEU or CCA requirements.

Contact your local Bayer Range & Pasture Specialist for application timing of any Bayer Range & Pasture product specific to your area.
