TSCRA WELCOMES NEW SPECIAL RANGER TO NORTHEAST TEXAS

FORT WORTH, TEXAS –Former North Richland Hills Detective Wayne Goodman has joined the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) as a special ranger for District 12.
Goodman replaced Special Ranger John Bradshaw who has moved to District 9.
“Wayne has a strong record of effective law enforcement,” said Larry Gray, TSCRA executive director of law enforcement and theft prevention. “His contacts throughout Northeast Texas, and his good working relationships with those in the law enforcement community, as well as livestock and ranching industries, make him a great asset to our organization. I welcome him to TSCRA and look forward to working with him.”
District 12 includes Bowie, Camp, Cass, Delta, Franklin, Hopkins, Lamar, Morris, Rains, Red River and Titus counties.
Goodman has more than 20 years of law enforcement experience. Most recently he worked as a detective for the North Richland Hills Police Department where he specialized in cyber crimes and crimes against children. During that time, he was named North Richland Hills Police Officer of the Year and the City Employee of the Year.

TSCRA has 30 special rangers stationed strategically throughout Texas and Oklahoma who have in-depth knowledge of the cattle industry and are trained in all facets of law enforcement. All are commissioned as Special Rangers by the Texas Department of Public Safety and/or the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association is a 134-year-old trade organization. As the largest and oldest livestock association in Texas, TSCRA represents more than 15,000 beef cattle producers, ranching families and businesses who manage approximately 4 million head of cattle on 75.9 million acres of range and pasture land, primarily in Texas and Oklahoma. TSCRA provides law enforcement and livestock inspection services, legislative and regulatory advocacy, industry news and information, insurance services and educational opportunities for its members and the industry.
