TSCRA and Texas Cattle Feeders Association (TCFA) hosted 2015’s Cattlemen at the Capitol this week in Austin. Activities kicked off Tuesday evening with a reception at The Driskill Hotel, where many state officials visited with cattle industry leaders and association representatives. TSCRA and TCFA were also at the Texas State Capitol on Wednesday, where they met with Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, Speaker Joe Straus and about 30 other elected state officials about their legislative priorities for the 84th Legislative Session.
