TSCRA’s summer membership meeting kicked off Monday evening with a welcome reception at the Sheraton Arlington. Attendees enjoyed catching up with their fellow cattle raisers and were treated to a private screening of Farmland, a feature film that takes an intimate look at farmers and ranchers in their 20s and what it takes to provide the food we eat and how the industry is changing.
Tuesday’s activities will include briefing sessions from TSCRA’s various committees, where cattle raisers will hear the latest on topics such as the Red River BLM issue, the future of the beef industry, EPA and the Clean Water Act, among others. In the evening, attendees will gather at Globe Life Ballpark to watch the Texas Rangers take on the Miami Marlins.
