TSCRA Legislative and Tax Committee Chair Leslie Kinsel testified on eminent domain issues before the Senate State Affairs Committee Tuesday in Austin. Kinsel stressed the need for the legislature to strengthen current laws that govern the use of eminent domain to better protect landowners’ private property rights. She also mentioned a survey that TSCRA and other landowner organizations have sent to members to collect useful data proving reform of eminent domain laws is still needed.
