Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold unevenly steady depending on when in the week the cattle sold. Sales in the beginning of the week were steady to $3 higher; however, by the end of the week the market picked back up and sold steady to $3 higher. Slaughter cows and bull wold $1 to $5 lower. Hay trades were mostly steady to firm. In the Texas High Plains grain markets, the bulk of bids were mostly 2 to 3 cents higher on grain sorghum; 3 to 4 cents lower on wheat; and mostly 1 to 2 cents higher on corn. Most elevators have rolled to the December bids.
