TSCRA’s 2017 Policy Conference kicks off Wednesday in Austin with an entertaining and enlightening talk about state and national politics with The Texas Tribune CEO and Co-founder Evan Smith. Attendees will also hear from Richard Wortham, executive vice president, Texas Beef Council, about their exciting and successful new Beef Loving Texans campaign. Immediately following the general session, members, guests and friends will enjoy a Happy Hour Reception on the beautiful terrace of the Sheraton by the Capitol.
Friday’s events will include committee meetings, a talk with Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar, cattle market and price updates and an evening reception featuring special state lawmaker guests.
