Ranchers, farmers and landowners in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas are moving into recovery mode in the aftermath of fires that swept across the Plains states last week. The affected ranchers are still deciding what to do with the cattle that survived and treating animals injured in the fire. For many, it could be some time before they know the full extent of damages to land and property.
