Epidemic. That’s how ever-expanding feral hog populations are described as farmers and ranchers in more and more areas of the United States face unprecedented damage. Hunting and trapping by landowners and hunters, combined with control efforts being conducted by Wildlife Services operations, are slowing population growth, but are not enough to actually reduce the population.
