Last day of summer membership meeting in Arlington

TSCRA’s summer membership meeting wrapped up in Arlington Wednesday morning with a general session and board meeting. Attendees heard from TSCRA’s officers and leaders about the latest association activities, policy priorities and committee resolutions decided during Tuesday’s meetings. They also received an update on the recent Texas Beef Checkoff referendum vote. Speaker Kathleen Jackson, director of the Texas Water Development Board, also discussed how the board serves the citizens and communities of Texas in providing leadership, planning, financial assistance, information and education for the conservation and responsible development of water for the state.
The next association meeting will be the Fall Meeting in Austin Sept. 24-26.
