Information sought in Wharton County cattle theft

TSCRA Special Ranger Tommy Charbula, Dist. 24 in South Texas, and local authorities are seeking information regarding the theft of 5 white Brahman cows and 5 calves from a rancher in the Taiton area of Wharton County.
The victim is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the stolen cattle and the apprehension and conviction of a suspect or suspects involved in the theft. Anyone with further information leading to the recovery of the stolen cattle or the arrest of a suspect or suspects should contact TSCRA’s Operation Cow Thief hotline at 888-830-2333 or call TSCRA Special Ranger Tommy Charbula at 361-235-1088.
TSCRA does not determine the eligibility of the possible recipients of this reward. The offered reward and payment of the reward is the sole responsibility of the victim. TSCRA will not be held liable in any manner for the actions or inactions of the parties offering the reward referenced.
