Come to the School for Successful Ranching Ready to Learn!

The School for Successful Ranching at the Cattle Raisers Convention March 29-31 at the Fort Worth Convention Center provides time to explore what is relevant to you, offers information you can use at home right away, and has classes that will help you stretch and develop better ranching skills.

Twenty-three hours of practical instruction for beginners, intermediate and advanced ranchers and natural resources managers will provide you with the practical, real-world information you need to help improve your cattle operation. Register by Feb. 15, to take advantage of early registration discounts on day packages or on the complete Cattle Raisers Convention registration. Visit www.cattleraisersconvention.com/school/ for detailed session descriptions and to register.

The popular “Ask An Ag Lawyer” session returns to the 2019 School for Successful Ranching. Participate in this interactive session featuring agriculture lawyers who will answer your questions. Learn more about the legal aspects of water law, oil and gas law, eminent domain, property issues and many more practical topics.
Learn about matching the right bull with your cows to reach your production goals.

Hear how other ranchers make or save money with their range management practices. Learn about the latest in prickly pear control methods. Find out how to make the most of your hay production. Learn more about proper mineral supplementation for your beef herd, how to develop a herd health calendar, and how to keep your ranch records organized and useful. Explore the www.cattleraisersconvention.com/school/ to see what is in store for you.

School sessions are held on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30. Save dollars on your registration by taking advantage of early registration rates on day packages or full convention registration. The early registration rates, available until Feb. 15, are $90 for Friday-only registration; $110 for Saturday-only registration; $375 for the complete registration package, which includes meals, socials, receptions and the Cattle Raisers Dinner and Dance.

All registration packages offer complete access to the Cattle Raisers Expo, the largest ranching Expo in the Southwest. Browse more than 250 exhibits and learn from free demonstrations in the Expo. You’ll find the goods and services you want and need at the ranch in the Cattle Raisers Expo.

Register before Feb. 15 to save more than $100 off on-site prices.
