USDA’s F A S released their weekly update on U.S. beef and pork exports on Dec. 1 and the data continues to paint a very positive picture for both proteins. Exports of beef muscle cuts in the past two weeks have averaged 16,808 metric tons (MT), the highest two week average at any point this year or last year. Beef exports in the last four reported weeks have averaged 15,750 MT, 28 percent higher than the same four week period a year ago.
