TSCRA’s Cattle Raisers Convention and Expo kicked off Friday morning in Fort Worth with School for Successful Ranching sessions. The Expo opened at 10:00 a.m. to welcome attendees to walk among the more than 200 booths, exhibits and industry suppliers. Afternoon activities included more school classes on topics such as calving difficulties and mineral supplements as well as cattle handling demos and info sessions at the learning lounge in the Expo.
Saturday’s Convention and Expo events will include information sessions on beef industry sustainability, private property rights and dispelling beef nutrition myths. The Expo will close in the early evening with the final call on the Law Enforcement Silent Auction at 5:00 and the Cattle Raisers Dinner Dance at the River Ranch at 7:00.
The Convention closes on Sunday with business meetings and a general session brunch with a climate and weather outlook.
