Feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady for the week. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Heavy rains throughout the week dumped up to 7 inches on the Panhandle, which makes cattle movement difficult. Slaughter cows and bulls traded steady. All hay classes traded mostly steady to firm with Texas High Plains grain markets the bulk of the bids were mostly 5 to 7 cents lower on grain sorghum; mostly 1 to 9 cents lower on wheat; mostly 4 to 19 cents lower on corn. Most elevators have rolled to the December bids.
