According to the National Weather Service (NWS), “A very slow moving disturbance will deliver continuous tropical heavy rainfall and flooding along the Texas Gulf Coast into Louisiana. Additional heavy rainfall will be possible across the Midwest and Ohio Valley, from a circulation and stalled frontal zone.” The Natural Resources Conservation Service produces this weekly report using data and products from the National Water and Climate Center and other agencies.
