TSCRA Crime Watch: Saddle stolen in South Texas, heifer missing in Central Oklahoma

TSCRA Special Ranger Gary Baros, Dist. 25 in far South Texas, reports the theft of a championship saddle from a property in Goliad County. Taken on March 3 was a tan saddle with custom tooling made by Flying J. The saddle’s right side jockey is inscribed with “20th Annual Bad to the Bone Thanksgiving Roping” and “Champion 2014” on the right fender. TSCRA Special Ranger Bart Perrier, Dist. 4 in northern Central Oklahoma, reports a cow missing from a property near Orlando in Payne County. Missing some time between April 10 and 11 is a black and white or motley-faced heifer weighing approximately 550 pounds with a blue “HB” tag in the left ear and a JHB brand on the left hip that looks like J-B. If you have any information regarding this case, please call Special Ranger Perrier at 918-275-4257.
Anonymous tipsters may also call the Operation Cow Thief hotline at 888-830-2333. A cash reward is offered for information leading to an arrest and/or grand jury indictment. Anonymity is guaranteed.
