Drone Use on Ranches will be topic of Oct. 3 webinar

Source: AgriLife Today
Drone Use on Ranches will be the topic of the Oct. 3 Texas Range Webinar hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service unit of the Texas A&M University Department of Ecosystem Science and Management.
The webinar series is free, except when Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units are offered. It is scheduled the first Thursday of each month from noon to 1 p.m., said Pete Flores, AgriLife Extension webinar coordinator in Corpus Christi.
The presenter will be Megan Clayton, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension range specialist, Corpus Christi.
“Drones have become popular for both recreational and commercial use, but how can you most effectively use them for your ranching operation?” Clayton said. “This webinar will cover different types of drones for sale, features to look for and new rules you must follow depending on your situation and purpose.”
For more information on the webinars, contact Flores at [email protected].
