FORT WORTH, Texas (November 4, 2026) — Today, Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association announced it is now accepting applications for the Gilly Riojas Memorial Internship Program for the 2027 Cattle Raisers Convention & Expo, April 8-10 in Fort Worth.
As TSCRA celebrates 150 years of representing ranchers and landowners, college students have an opportunity to help bring the association’s largest annual event to life. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the beef industry, work alongside TSCRA staff and build connections with ranchers, landowners, industry leaders and fellow students.
The internship runs April 6-11 and includes event preparation, meetings, educational programming and youth activities. Through these responsibilities, students will strengthen their communication and organizational skills while gaining a behind-the-scenes understanding of convention operations.
Applications are due Jan. 1, 2027. For internship requirements and to apply, visit tscra.org/who-we-are/employment.
