TSCRA Crime Watch: Welding trailer stolen in Victoria County; Cattle missing in East TX

TSCRA Special Ranger Gary Baros, Dist. 25 along the coast in South Texas, reports the theft of a welder, trailer, welding gas bottles and equipment from a property in Victoria County. Stolen on April 17 was a 10-foot trailer containing a Bobcat welder, acetylene and oxygen bottles, cutting torch, welding rods and helmet, toolboxes, wrenches and other assorted tools. TSCRA Special Ranger Larry Hand, Dist. 13 in East Texas, reports 2 sets of cattle missing and possibly stolen after going estray in early April from pastures in Smith County. The first set of missing cattle are 2 black polled Angus-cross cows weighing between 1000 and 1200 pounds, each. These cows have no brands, tags or marks. The second set of cattle missing in the same area of Smith County are a 1200 pound red Simmental bull with a white forehead blaze and a 7P brad on the hip; 2 black Angus cross heifers weighing 800 to 900 pounds, each, one with stubby horns and both with no brand; and a red brindle polled heifer weighing 800 to 900 pounds with no brand.
