TSCRA Crime Watch: Heifers stolen in southeast Texas

TSCRA Special Ranger Tommy Charbula, Dist. 24 in southeast Texas along the Gulf Coast, reports the theft of 6 heifers from a property between Bellville in Austin County and Chappell Hill in Washington County. Some time after Feb. 7 a thief or thieves removed a lock and chain to load the cattle from a loading pen. Missing are a red brindle heifer with a motley face, 1 Charolais-Jersey cross heifer with horns clipped about 1 inch from head; 1 Beefmaster heifer with horns clipped about 1 inch from head and 3 purebred white Charolais heifers. None of these cattle have brands or ear marks. If you have any information regarding this theft, please call Special Ranger Charbula at 361-782-5209.
