TSCRA Crime Watch: Cattle missing in Texas Panhandle, NE OK

TSCRA Special Ranger Dean Bohannon, District 7 in the Texas southwestern region of the Texas Panhandle, reports 3 cattle missing from a Gaines County property sometime after May 1, 2018. Missing are 3 motley black heifers that could have a white face, weighing approximately 800 pounds, each. They are branded with a spear up and a spear down, like drawing an 11 with a spear on top and a spear on bottom, on the right rib; and a figure 7 on the left hip. Anyone with information is urged to contact Special Ranger Bohannon at 806-789-9476.

TSCRA Special Ranger Bart Perrier, District 4 in northeastern Oklahoma, reports 15 cows and 2 calves missing from properties in Wagoner and Osage counties.

Sometime between June 12 and 18, 15 cows were stolen from a property near Porter in Wagoner County. Taken were 6 Charolais cows between 4 to 6 years old, 6 black Angus cows, three of which are 2-year-old first-calf heifers, and three 4 to 6-year-old Angus cows; and 3 red Limousin cows approximately 4 to 6 years old. All of the cows are branded on the left hip with a tripe T that is stair stepped and connected.

Also stolen this week from a property near Avant in Osage County are two unsexed, unbranded newborn black Brangus cross calves weighing 100 to 300 pounds, each.

Anyone with information on these cases should contact Special Ranger Perrier at 918-847-3231.

The Operation Cow Thief tipline is always available at 888-839-2333. A cash reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and/or grand jury indictment for theft of livestock or related property. Anonymity is guaranteed.
