TSCRA Crime Watch: Another East Texas trailer & equipment theft; Cattle stolen in E, SE TX

TSCRA Special Ranger Jimmy Dickson, Dist. 14 in East Texas, reports the burglary of a property in Anderson County near Stripling. Some time between Jan. 26 and 28 a thief or thieves took a shop-made 6-by-10-foot tilt-bed trailer, license 145566J, that has the license number of the owner etched into the angle iron going back to the axle; orange and gray Ridgid 10,000-watt gasoline powered generator; a green 2004 Yamaha Bruin 350 4-by-4 with gun racks and a bucket holder on the back, serial no. 5Y4AH09Y94A007610; Craftsman 22-gallon stand up air compressor and orange hose; Hitachi nail gun; Skill saw; Bosch jigsaw; 2 Central Pneumatic staple guns; 2 20-gallon propane tanks; 30,000-BTU Mr. Propane blue flame heater; Mr. Heater Big Buddy heater; and various tools, hammers and construction equipment. TSCRA Special Ranger Steve Martin, Dist. 30 in South Texas, reports the theft of 7 cows and 6 calves from a property in Jim Wells County some time between Dec. 27 and 30 by an unlocked gate. Taken were 7 head of 3-to-6-year-old cross bred cows weighing from 1000 to 1200 pounds, each. Some were paint color, but most were red. Also taken were 6 cross-bred mixed-color calves weighing 400 to 600 pounds, each. None of these cattle were branded. TSCRA Special Ranger Tommy Charbula, Dist. 24 in southeast Texas, reports 15 head of cattle missing from a property near Ganado in Jackson County sometime after Jan. 22. Missing are 10 head of black Brangus cows with the brand K7 on the left hip; and 5 unbranded crossbred black Brangus-type calves weighing 400 to 500 pounds, each.
