TSCRA Crime Watch: 6 unbranded yearlings stolen in East TX; 10 branded Angus-types missing in North TX

TSCRA Special Ranger Larry Hand, Dist. 13 in far East Texas reports the theft of 6 unbranded yearlings from a property near Carthage in Panola County. Some time after May 27 a thief or thieves stole a black Angus heifer weighing approximately 650 pounds with a yellow ear tag in the left ear; 2 black Angus heifers with a brown tint, 1 black Angus steer, 1 black Baldie steer and 1 black Baldie heifer all weighing between 250-325 pounds each. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to call Special Ranger Hand at 903-592-5252.

TSCRA Special Ranger Troy McKinney, Dist. 11 in North Texas, also reports 10 head of black Angus-type cattle missing from a property near Whitesboro in Grayson County. The cattle are 8 to 10 years old and branded with a J and G- on the left hip. If you have any information regarding this case, please call Special Ranger McKinney at 903-429-4011.
