Laura becomes a hurricane, heads for Southeast Texas

Tropical Storm Laura is now a hurricane and aiming landfall somewhere along the Texas-Louisiana border on Wednesday. It has the potential to develop into a major hurricane with high winds, heavy rain and dangerous storm surge.  
Gov. Greg Abbott has made a disaster declaration for coastal counties in preparation and some evacuation orders are in effect. Click or tap here for more information.
