Yesterday we ran the hunting season opening dates for 2017-2018 in Texas, and we got the quail date wrong! The correct opening day for quail is Oct. 28. Sorry if that got any hearts racing. To easily access season dates and regulations, locate public hunting lands and more, get the free Outdoor Annual app from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
