TSCRA Legislative Roundup: SB 421 Passes Senate

There was extremely good news out of Austin this week: The Texas Senate passed S.B. 421! Eminent domain reform legislation has been heavily supported by TSCRA and other property owner organizations. We would like to especially thank Sen. Lois Kolkhorst, who authored the bill, and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick for the extensive time they spent on S.B. 421. To read more, view our press release here.

Other legislation on a variety of issues to continues to move forward in both the House and Senate. TSCRA government and public affairs staff are watching closely and engaging on various legislation daily to ensure your property and way of life are protected.

Last week, TSCRA government and public affairs staff were at the 2019 Cattle Raisers Convention and Expo in Fort Worth. A special thank you to everyone who attended and stopped by the TSCRA Political Action Committee (PAC) booth to find out about the PAC’s work to influence the future of politics.
