Crime watch: Heifer missing in Central TX; Info sought in horse shooting in South TX

Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Ranger Hal Dumas, District 21 in Central Texas, reports a heifer missing from a property on Wire Road In Walker County between Crabbs Prairie and Huntsville. The brown heifer is long bred and has a KE brand on left hip, a 96 brand on right hip, and a red ear tag with number 96. This heifer was last seen on June 1. Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact Special Ranger Dumas at 979-255-0638

Information is also being sought on horse shooting in South Texas. Sometime between Oct. 15 and 16 a horse was shot and died at a property along Kicaster Creek in Wilson County. Anyone with information is urged to contact Wilson County Deputy Samuel Emerson at 830-393-2535, in reference Case No. 20-06666, or Wilson County Game Warden Robert Frets at 210-213-9181.
