Big attendance this week for ranch gatherings

TSCRA hosted three ranch gatherings this week welcoming more than 225 members, family and guests across two states. Attendees to the event in Clarendon on Tuesday heard from Dr. Derrell Peel, Oklahoma State University livestock market economist, who gave a cattle market update, and TSCRA Special Ranger Harold Dempsey, who talked about preventing livestock theft. At Wednesday’s event in Spearman, Special Ranger Dempsey talked to the crowd and gave an update on local law enforcement activities. TSCRA Special Rangers Bart Perrier and Brett Wellden gave an update on local theft cases at the event in Bartlesville on Thursday.
Big thanks to go event sponsors Capital Farm Credit, Merck Animal Health, Arrowquip, Giant Rubber Water Tanks, Texas Agricultural Land Trust, Express Scale Services, No Limit Powersports, P&K Equipment and Dougherty Forestry Manufacturing. Special appreciation also goes to Elanco Animal Health for providing the meals.
Ranch gatherings are planned next week in Mobeetie on Sept. 20 and Ozona on Sept. 21. Click here for more information and to RSVP…
