Beef Balance Sheet: Production projected up 570 million pounds in 2018

Analysis of WASDE reports by Beef Market Central forecasts beginning beef stocks in 2018 are projected at 650 million pounds, down 107 million pounds from 2017. Beef production in 2018 is projected at 27.132 billion pounds, up 570 million pounds from 2017, and imports in 2018 are projected at 2.87 billion pounds, up 81 million pounds from 2017. Read more…
