Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed Todd Boykin and reappointed Jerry Bob Daniel and Wilson Scaling to the Red River Authority of Texas board of directors for terms set to expire Aug. 11, 2021. Both Daniel and Scaling are longtime directors of TSCRA.
Todd Boykin of Amarillo is partner and chair of leadership for Burdett Morgan Williamson & Boykin, LLP. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is board certified in Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Boykin received a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University and a Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law.
Jerry Bob Daniel of Truscott is a self-employed rancher and real estate investor. He is co-founder with his wife, Eugenie Daniel, of the Circle Bar ranch located in Knox County. He is a director of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) serving as vice-chairman of animal health and food safety committee. He is also a member of the National Cattlemen Beef Association (NCBA) and serves on the Agriculture Policy committee. Additionally, he serves on the Pitchfork Land and Cattle Co. board of directors as vice president and finance committee chairman. Daniel received an associate degree from Vernon Junior College.
Wilson Scaling of Henrietta is owner and manager of Scaling & Co., LLC. He is an honorary director of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) and director of the North Texas Rehabilitation Foundation and Little Wichita Soil and Water Conservation District. Additionally, he is a former director of the Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts, former member of the Water Conservation Implementation Task Force and former president and former board member of the Clay County Pioneer Association. Scaling received a Bachelor of Science in animal husbandry from Texas Tech University and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Reserves.
