FORT WORTH, Texas (September 25, 2026) — An investigation led by Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Ranger Lynn Mays resulted in the arrest of two Oklahoma men accused of taking and selling nine yearlings belonging to their employer in July.
Jonathan Rosas, 19, and Edward Marques, 20, both of Felt, Oklahoma, surrendered to the Cimarron County Sheriff’s Office Sept. 10 without incident. Warrants were issued for their arrest on charges of theft of domestic animals after investigators discovered evidence indicating the men had taken and sold the cattle.
TSCRA Special Ranger Chris Ward and Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Special Agent Paul Cornett assisted Mays with the investigation.
