Gonzales Counties and contiguous counties seemed to fare the hurricane relatively well for the most part. Structural damage varies depending how close you were to the eye of the storm. It seems that, for the most part, cattle weathered the storm relatively well here. Currently, flooding conditions pose a real threat to people and livestock in proximity to any creek or river. Flooding along the Guadalupe, Colorado and Brazos Rivers and their tributaries are flooding at levels rarely or never seen before. My suggestion would be to structure relief in this area to be post flood because I feel the flood will have much more impact on local ranchers than the hurricane did. Just my two cents.
