TSCRA leaders, members and guests gathered in Galveston for TSCRA’s Summer Meeting at the Galvez Hotel and Spa Friday. The day began with informational meetings about topics important to the beef industry and landowners, as well as plenty of time to enjoy the island with friends and family. Issues discussed included drone use and legalities, federal tax policies, export markets and trade, stocker cattle health and preventing problems when darting cattle. Attendees also enjoyed a tour of the Galveston port and an evening dinner at the Bryan Museum. The meeting will conclude Saturday morning with the Board of Director’s meeting. The association’s next meeting will be the Policy Meeting in San Antonio, Sept. 27-29.
