TAHC names new assistant executive director of animal programs

The Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) has named Dr. Angela Daniels as the new Assistant Executive Director of Animal Health Programs.
Daniels was born and raised in Southeast Iowa on a diversified farm where her family raised beef cattle, hogs, corn and soybeans. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy and Animal Science followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Daniels accepted a position with Dr. C.J. Johanns Dairy Production Medicine.
Daniels and her family then made their way to the Texas Panhandle where she began work for Dalhart Animal Hospital before accepting a staff veterinarian position with Seaboard Farms, Inc. After three years in the swine industry, she returned to work in the dairy field with Dalhart Animal Hospital. In 2004, she and Dr. C. Scanlon Daniels founded Circle H Headquarters, LLC, where she provided a wide variety of services related to animal and food production.
