Vilsack: Window closing on trade deal

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said Friday that a massive Asia-Pacific trade deal must get done before the 2016 presidential campaign season kicks into high gear. Vilsack said that time is running short to move trade promotion authority (TPA) legislation through Congress and smooth passage of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) before year’s end.
