TSCRA hosts ranch gatherings in Abilene and Seguin

TSCRA welcomed members, friends and guests to ranch gatherings in Abilene and Seguin, recently. The event in Abilene on May 8 at the Griffin Arena boasted close to 300 attendees and heard from TSCRA First Vice President Richard Thorpe about benefits of membership. They also enjoyed a delicious beef dinner.
Appreciation goes to the Abilene ranch gathering’s sponsors Elanco Animal Health, Red Chain Feeds, Multimin, Inc., Capital Farm Credit, Livestock Nutrition Center, Central Texas Farm Credit and Lone Star Ag Credit; and to Certified Hereford Beef for their donated of the meat for dinner.

The gathering in Seguin on May 14 welcomed 115 attendees for a beef dinner and presentation from TSCRA Special Ranger Gary Baros on local theft cases and tips on how to prevent becoming a victim. Thanks go to event emcee Claude Koontz.

An event planned for May 13 in Floresville was cancelled due to inclement weather. That event will be rescheduled for a later date. Keep an eye out for that information!
